Have had a couple of emails from RC and need some assistance for my wwww-uk-plasticbagfree-forum.com

I've found that I didn't do the installation bits right nor the XAMPP stuff. Made basic mistake of charging around and doing various things back-to-front.

So someones help will be welcomed;site contains 1 section with 200+ cat with each one having article'n pics etc.

I'm really hoping that there's a way to do this without to much aggro as Ruth.C said you'd all got varying degrees of skill / experience

I know your area a bit as my son was stationed at RAF Watersham-Ips, very good for pub mealsin the summer

Hiya, I'm having some trouble getting to that URL, could you check that it's the right one? If you have an idea of what you need to do with it I may be able to help next week some time. Ruth x

Have been looking thru J-Beginners Guide and trying to change things on site and sudenly got this message. Database error. Unable to connect to the database: Could not connect to MySQL. Can you tell me how to correct this please. Am I right in thinking you work for a IT / web design company; if so I could arrange fee for someone to assist me with this site?

Hiya, By the sounds of it you've changed something which has caused it to not be able to access the database. Usually this means you've changed the username, password, or location of the database (or the database service has crashed). I can take a look at it tomorrow for you, drop me an email with access rights to CPanel, and SuperAdmin rights to the site. Ruth
